The episode opens with Jack and Liz preparing for the beginning of her Dealbreakers talk show, and Tracy realizing that he wants to have a baby girl. Meanwhile, Devon Banks adds pressure to the Dealbreaker situation by threatening to publicly ridicule Jack if the show loses a penny.
Whilst shopping for a Christmas present for his wife Angie, Tracy finds a diamond encrusted “EGOT” necklace and sets a new life goal to achieve EGOT status by winning 4 major awards: an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony. Jack becomes pedantic about Dealbreakers, and interferes too much with Liz’s appearance, sending her over the edge with insecurity. After 510 takes, they finally settle on an opening title to the show.
