Top Gear is a BAFTA, multi-NTA and International Emmy Award-winning BBC television series about motor vehicles, primarily cars. It began in 1977 as a conventional motoring magazine show. Over time, and especially since a relaunch in 2002, it has developed a quirky, humorous style. The show is currently presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig, an anonymous test driver that was revealed to be Formula 1 racer Michael Schumacher, but then the Stig’s identity was questioned at the end of the show. The programme is estimated to have 350 million viewers worldwide

ITs not good that top gear has only 6 eps. for season 17. What is going on??? before they would crank out 14 or 15 eps per season. Does anyone know when the next season will start???
BBC used to give’em about 800.000 sterling per season. Now it gives them about 350.000 you do the math; also the season IMO was super weak.
Season (or series for you Brits) 16 of Top Gear has been delayed until early next year. Normally the fall/winter season would start in late October or early November and go until late December, but according to the latest Top Gear magazine, it’s been pushed back by a few months.
It’s definitely a bit of a disappointment, but you can’t rush quality and hopefully it will work out to better episodes.
